Ark: Survival Evolved has many dinosaurs and general monster types that inhabit the game world. These creatures can vary significantly in how they interact with the player or how aggressive they are. One particular pain point for players is the 'Ice Wyvern' from the Ragnarok DLC. This wyvern has a very difficult-to-dodge attack that slows player and dino movement by fifty percent, making this wyvern extremely difficult to get away from. Regardless of whether players want to turn off this creature for PvP balance purposes or general PvE, any animal within Ark can be easily replaced or re-added.
How to Disable Ice Wyverns on an Ark Server
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Games panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Choose Config Files > Ark Game Settings from the left sidebar.
4. In a new line, enter the following: NPCReplacements=(FromClassName="Ragnarok_Wyvern_Override_Ice_C",ToClassName="") .
5. Once finished editing, choose Save Content.
6. Start the server.
