1. Install and launch Space Engineers Dedicated Server from Steam.

Click Continue to server configuration.

Reset the password field.

Enter the desired password.

Click Save.

Press Edit. This should open a notepad.

Copy the ServerPasswordHash and ServerPasswordSalt lines.

Log in to the BisectHosting Games panel.

10. Stop the server.


11. Go to the Files tab.


12. Find the following directory: /home/container/config .


13. Open the SpaceEngineers-Dedicated.cfg file.


14. Paste the copied text from Step 8 under <ServerDescription> .


Note The copied text should replace any existing ServerPasswordHash or ServerPasswordSalt lines.


15. Once finished editing, choose the Save Content button.


16. Start the server.

1. Stop the server.


2. Go to the Files tab.


3. Find the following directory: /home/container/config .


4. Open the SpaceEngineers-Dedicated.cfg file.


5. Delete the <ServerPasswordHash></ServerPasswordHash> line.



6. Once finished editing, choose the Save Content button.


7. Start the server.
