Summary
Wreckfest 2 servers can have various roles for specific players. The admin role allows users to change the current track and adjust event rules from the lobby screen without being the Race Director. It also allows them to manage bots and maximum player count on the server. Changes made by admins in this way will not modify the default settings and will be reset on server restart.
How to Add Admins to a Wreckfest 2 Server
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Games panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Files tab.
4. Open the Save folder.
5. Open the server_privilege.sprv file. If not present, Start and Stop the server.
6. Press Enter between the brackets in "roles": [], to create a new line.
7. Paste the following template:{"bbmeta": "ssrl v0 n2","platform id": [SteamID/EpicID],"role": "admin"}
| Note | Increase the n in "bbmeta": "ssr1 vo n2", by 1 for each subsequent role. |
8. When adding Multiple Admins, add a comma (,) after the curly bracket, and increase the n in "bbmeta" by 1 .
9. Once finished editing, choose Save Content.
10. Start the server.
11. Any assigned player will now have the Admin tag on the lobby screen.
