Mordhau has similar mechanics to other medieval combat-based games, allowing players to hit each other on the same team but for reduced damage. This can be a very interesting mechanic to play around with, as it prevents large groups of players from grouping and spamming attacks. However, players can avoid having to moderate griefing by disabling team damage entirely.
How to Change Player/Team Damage on a Mordhau Server
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Games panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to Config Files > Server Config from the left sidebar.
4. Navigate to the DamageFactor= section.
5. Change the values as desired. The damage will be multiplied by the given value (e.g., 1.5 = 1.5x damage dealt.)
6. Once finished editing, choose Save Content.
7. Start the server.
