Barotrauma features many ways to play including the popular 'campaign' mode. This mode tasks players with a sprawling adventure across long distances, giving them escalating missions and forcing them to manage their resources wisely. Like other gamemodes, campaigns can be adjusted to any difficulty, ensuring the difficulty is fine-tuned to the server's desired play style.

How to Configure a Campaign on a Barotrauma Server
1. Join the server as an Admin.
2. Ensure Campaign is the selected game mode.
3. Select New Campaign and add a Save Name.
4. Adjust the settings as desired, or choose a Preset.
5. Select a Submarine to start with. This will affect available funds!
6. Adjust any desired game mode or respawn settings.
7. Ensure all connected players have their Job Preferences set.
8. When ready to begin, press the Start button.
