Insurgency: Sandstorm servers can be secured by adding a password so only specific users can join and play. This is essential for users who have set up their Server Tokens but don't want random users to join since the tokens allow players to connect through the server browser. Server passwords can be toggled on or off freely, only requiring a server restart to take effect. Servers with no password will still be prompted when connecting. However, players can simply leave the box blank to join.
How to Add a Password to an Insurgency: Sandstorm Server
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Games panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Startup tab.
4. Navigate to the Server Password section.
5. Press the Toggle button and enter a secure password.
6. Start the server.
7. When Joining the Server, enter the password into the field.
