In The Forest, the Rebreather is a vital tool that allows players to explore underwater areas. It provides an extended oxygen supply, enabling players to dive into submerged caves and access hidden locations essential for progression. The Rebreather also has a flashlight to improve visibility in dark underwater environments.
How to Find the Rebreather in The Forest
Players can find the Rebreather inside Cave 5 or the Submerged Cave. The Submerged Cave has two entrances.

The player will dive deeper once in the cave.
1. The most accessible landmark to start with is the Sinkhole.
2. Circle the sinkhole to find the small spring.
3. Proceed straight from the rocks above the spring.
4. Reach Geese Lake and continue south.
5. Keep going straight past the Film Crew Camp.
6. Enter the Climb Entrance.
7. Inside the cave, follow the lights of the fire.
8. Break through the wooden fence with crosses.
9. Under the skull lamp, dive deeper into the cave.
10. The Rebreather will be sitting next to a corpse.
11. Take the Air Canisters beside the Rebreather. Air Canisters fill the Rebreather with oxygen.
12. The Rebreather will be helpful to complete the game.
