Summary
The Isle's main mechanic and objective for players is to grow their dinosaurs by adequately managing their diet. Typically, players will prefer to have one of each nutrient, as this provides double growth speed. However, players who cannot acquire every type of nutrient or are already fully grown may find it better to acquire a specific combination to aid with various aspects, such as health regen or scent/night vision range. Players should always aim to have complete nutrients, regardless of their type.
The Isle Diet and Nutrition Guide
The Isle has three main nutrition types, which can be acquired through various types of food. The three types are Protein - (S), Lipids - (//), and Carbohydrates - (∴), and each combination of the three provides a different buff for the player, providing players with an extra growth rate and other helpful buffs.
