Summary
Conan Exiles has an exciting and challenging endgame with bosses, dungeons, and special events. Following the Age of War update, some mechanics were reworked, including the Purge Revamp. Purges used to be a pain point for players, as they would send attacks on players regularly, regardless of whether the player was away from their base or not. With the new system, purges are instead difficult waves of enemies that are spawned manually through the treasure coffer, allowing players to tackle them at their own pace.

How to Fight the Purge in Conan Exiles
1. From the Knowledge menu, research the Treasure Coffer.
2. Locate the recipe using the Building Hammer, which can be found under Decorations > Treasure.
3. Place the Treasure Coffer in a defendable location.
| Note | Avoid placing the Treasure Coffer in essential places, as the Purge will attempt to destroy structures near the coffer. |
4. Place any Gold Coins or Jewelry/Trinkets in the coffer.
5. Press E to interact with the NPC beside the coffer.
6. Press Exchange Treasure to turn any Jewelry/Trinkets into Gold Coins.
7. When ready to challenge the Purge, choose Proclaim Wealth.
8. A Purge Camp will spawn nearby shortly; check their camp after the attack for additional rewards.
9. Remove all treasure from the Treasure Coffer to end the event early. The NPCs will stop attacking shortly after.
