Summary
A Minecraft server with set world borders can have a significant impact on the gameplay experience for players. The world border can be configured to the preferred size and dimensions, allowing for a much closer-knit experience. In addition, setting world borders can help reduce server lag, as it prevents the loading of far-away areas if players become split up.
How to Add a Server Border to a Minecraft Server
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Premium or Budget panel.
2. Open the Console tab.
3. Type /worldborder center <X> <Z>
replacing X and Z with the desired coordinates, and press enter.
Note | It's recommended to make the center of the border and the World Spawn the same. Users can find their positions by pressing F3 in-game. |
4. Enter the following command: /worldborder set <size>
, this will add a border X blocks away from the center.
5. The console will confirm that the commands were successful.
