Foundry requires multiple resources to start base building and production. One of the first components available to players is the machinery part, a required component in making production facilities and many other buildings in the game. These parts can eventually be processed and created automatically. However, players must create them manually until they can set up a Conveyor and Loader. After automating their creation, players can start building facilities more efficiently to help speed up production.
How to Make Machinery Parts in Foundry
1. Open the Crafting menu by pressing C. Then go to the Components section.
2. Machinery parts require Xenoferrite Plates to craft.
3. Use the smelter at the back of the Drop Pod to create plates.
4. Xenoferrite Ore Rubble is required to produce the xenoferrite plates.
5. After acquiring the plates, select Machinery Parts from the crafting menu to create them.
