Summary
Unlike many other games, Palworld has an automation system. Players must capture pals of various types to fill specific roles at the base. Each pal species has a specific 'work suitability' that determines their activities at bases. Pals placed in a player's squad will also perform these tasks so long as they are deployed from their pal sphere. This allows players to craft items efficiently, enabling production to continue while exploring or fighting the game's various Bosses.
Palworld Work Suitability Guide
Work suitability is a specific trait that can drastically affect a pal's effectiveness in player bases. While these traits are not as combat-oriented as some Passive Skills, they determine what a pal will naturally do when deployed at the base. As a result, getting the proper combination of pals to continue production while exploring is essential. Below are all possible work suitabilities a pal can have and what activities pals with the trait will perform.
