Summary
Enshrouded equipment is a way to specialize for many different classes, as many of the gear pieces can contain build-defining features or abilities. Some features of weapons can also be enhanced through the blacksmith NPC. The blacksmith must first be rescued, and after summoning, he will function as a crafting station and a means to unlock perks on weapons by enhancing them. Each weapon can have different perks, so choosing a weapon that suits the chosen playstyle is very important.
How to Upgrade Equipment in Enshrouded
1. To upgrade equipment, the Blacksmith must first be rescued from an ancient vault.
2. He can be summoned with a Summoning Staff.
3. After obtaining the staff, summon Oswald the Blacksmith. Note that the blacksmith must be Sheltered, or he will eventually leave.
4. Talk to Oswald and go to the Enhance Equipment tab.
5. Enhance any desired weapon by selecting it and pressing Space.
6. All available enhancements can be seen from the right; they will unlock in order.
