IvoryTV’s Minecraft Whitepine is a drama set in the early 1900s that follows a newly hired maid named Ivory joining the staff of the Hemlocke Family in whitepine mansion. There, Ivory must navigate the politics of the house and unexpected tragedy while glimpses of her own past are revealed along the way. All of this is recorded and acted out within Minecraft, making use of vanilla Minecraft avatars, hand-built environments, and select mods to bring the sets to life.

A Unique Experience Within Minecraft

A drama set and filmed within Minecraft may seem a bit odd at first glance, but don’t let that hesitation do you the disservice of missing out. Whitepine masterfully uses the charm of the game combined with engaging writing and beautiful cinematography to create a medium of its very own.
