How to Get Core Wood in Valheim

But progressing through the game means you must also collect stronger wood to support stronger constructions, in particular, this means eventually moving up to using Core Wood. Core Wood Location in Valheim

Travel to the Black Forest biome and chop Pine trees to collect Core Wood. However, you must use a Stone Axe or a higher-tier axe to cut these trees to gather this type of wood. Craft this tool by accessing the player crafting menu and using 5x Wood and 4x Stone. Warning: Avoid the Pine tree’s falling direction, or it’ll hurt your character’s health.

Core Wood Crafting Recipes

Core Wood is a requirement for various crafting recipes in Valheim. The items you can craft range from tools to building materials. Use Core Wood, along with other resources, to craft the following items in Valheim:

• Bronze pickaxe: 3x Core Wood and 10x Bronze at the Forge
• Cultivator: 5x Core Wood and 5x Bronze at the Forge
