V Rising is home to many powerful bosses, one of whom is Quincey the Bandit King. This V Blood Carrier can be problematic, especially to the unprepared. So, ensure that you're ready for this endeavor by reading our V Rising Quincey the Bandit King Boss Guide below.

Who is Quincey the Bandit King in V Rising?

V Rising Quincey the Bandit King Quincey the Bandit King is a Level 37 V Blood Carrier in V Rising. His story is one of bravery, betrayal, and recognition. Looking back, Quincey was a name spoken with reverence in the sun-kissed fields of Dunley. He was THE people's champion against oppression and a beacon of hope. However, that light flickered and dimmed as he dared to question the authority of the land, which was the Church of Luminance. Branded as a heretic, Quincey was driven into the deepest depths of the Farbane Woods. Here, a different yet still loyal kingdom awaited him. His trustworthy subjects helped him hone his skills in battle while going through the years of daily struggle. Quincey fought, bled, and rose from the ashes and scattered his bands of bandits into the hearts of Vardoran. Despite his seeming downfall, the people still saw him as not just a warrior but also a leader. What was once a proud fighter of the Church of Luminance is now the glorious Quincey the Bandit King.

Quincey the Bandit King Location

V Rising Quincey Location Quincey the Bandit King resides in the Bandit Stronghold in Farbane Woods. Similar to accessing the boss area to fight Dracula, V Rising vampires must use special items to access Quincey's lair. In particular, you must use Minor Explosive Boxes, which you can craft at the Alchemy Table for 8x Sulphur, 8x Plank, and 4x Whetstone. Note that you must first defeat the Level 30 V Blood Carrier, Clive the Firestarter, to unlock the crafting recipe for the Minor Explosive Box. Alternatively, use the Crush Ability of the Bear Form to destroy the barricade blocking the entrance to Quincey’s stronghold.

All Attacks and Fight Strategy

V Rising Quincey the Bandit King Fight Emboldened by the flames of experience, Quincey the Bandit King is no pushover when it comes to combat. Vampires must get ready for a barrage of attacks from his highness, which are the following:
  • Double Swipe: Quincey’s basic attack, wherein he unleashes two swipes with his weapon.
  • Shock Wave: The boss shoots four waving lines and explodes after two seconds. Players hit with this attack receive the Ignite debuff.
  • Mace Throw: A tracking attack with almost no indicator.
  • Merciless Charge: Quincey charges with a raised shield at the player.
  • Chaos Barrier: Casts a reflective shield and inflicts Ignite to anyone who hits it.
  • Summon Minion: Spawns a Trapper minion to join in combat.
  • Triple Charge: Quincey makes three quick charges and becomes stunned afterward.
Many of Quincey's attacks have tell-tale signs before he does them. For example, he'll shout, "Show me what you've got!" before casting Chaos Barrier. Additionally, he'll say, "Rise the challenge!" when he spawns a Trapper. Note that Quincey likes to spawn Trappers during this fight. So, deal with these minions quickly before they surround you. Although players can expect most attacks from Quincey, it's advisable to never be greedy when going on the offensive. Make no mistake, as the Bandit King's attacks hit hard, and you might be at the end of your rope when you get hit. With enough patience and perseverance, you can make his highness kneel to your prowess.
