A Charged Battery is one of the materials needed in V Rising to craft the Power Core, an endgame resource that's used to make high-tier Jewelry. However, you can't normally find Charged Batteries anywhere in the game. Instead, you must charge Depleted Batteries, and we're here to help!

How to Charge Depleted Batteries in V Rising

V Rising Lightning Harvester Typical enemies found at Thunderstrike Peak and Stormdrain Hills drop Depleted Batteries in bulk. Normally, players can acquire up to 20x Depleted Battery per stack. However, you can only charge 10x Depleted Battery per instance. V Rising Charge Depleted Battery Locations Note: The trading NPC at the Treasure Hunter Trade Post can sell a Depleted Battery for 20x Goldsun Coins or a Charged Battery for 40x Goldsun Coins. After gathering the preferred amount of Depleted Battery, travel to those locations mentioned earlier. There, search for Lightning Harvesters and interact with them. Wait for the batteries to charge and escape the immediate area since the Lightning Harvester will malfunction for 300 seconds. This action causes multiple lightning bolts to strike at that location, causing significant damage to unprepared vampires. Tip: Relocate a castle near the Thunderstrike Peak or Stormdrain Hills to reduce the travel time spent farming Charged Batteries.

Using Charged Batteries

V Rising Charge Depleted Battery At the time of writing, the only use for charging Depleted Batteries in V Rising is crafting a Power Core, which itself is an important crafting material. In particular, you can use 4x Charged Battery and 8x Radium Alloy at the Fabricator to craft 2x Power Core. Note that the crafting recipe is locked until you defeat Voltatia the Power Master, a Level 77 V Blood Carrier in the Trancendum Power Plant in Gloomrot North. Use the Power Core and other resources to craft the following items at each crafting station:

Anvil

  • Onyx Tear: 4x Gold Ingot, 4x Power Core, and 120x Blood Crystal
Note: An Anvil placed on a Forge Floor reduces crafting material costs by 25%.

Fabricator

  • EMP: 12x Iron Ingot and 4x Power Core
Note: A Fabricator placed on a Forge Floor reduces crafting material costs by 25%.

Artisan Table

  • Amulet of the Arch-Warlock: 1x Blood Merlot Amulet, 4x Flawless Sapphire, and 12x Power Core
  • Amulet of the Wicked Prophet: 1x Blood Merlot Amulet, 4x Flawless Amethyst, and 12x Power Core
