V Rising 1.1 - Invaders of Oakveil: Release Date, New Features, & More

There's more work to be done on the path to becoming Vampire Lord! V Rising Update 1.1, also known as Invaders of Oakveil, is now right around the corner! It's promising to bring a host of new content, new ways to play, and much more! Want to know more? We've got you covered down below!
This is the first content update for V Rising since its 1.0 launch in May of 2024, and it's shaping up to be a big one. Invaders of Oakveil gives players an entirely new region to explore with a host of new content. While developers Stunlock Studios haven't revealed all of the details for update 1.1, we do have plenty of info to share already, including an official release date, new PVP systems, combat changes, and more.
V Rising 1.1 - Invaders of Oakveil: What to Expect & Everything We Know So Far

Release Date
For starters, Invaders of Oakveil will be arriving on April 28, 2025! That means players won't have to wait very long at all! This update will arrive at the same time for players on PC and PlayStation 5.New Content & Features
In the entirely new region known as the Oakveil Woodlands, a powerful new foe has appeared. The Serpent Queen Megara leads a fearsome group of killers known as the Venom Blades. These new enemies have mysterious motives of their own, and they're not too fond of vampires. That means you've got to take them down! As you venture to defeat Megara and her legions, you'll come across loads of new content, including the following:Castle Arena & Dueling
These are new ways for players to compete in friendly PvP. You can create an arena of your own, invite a crew of vampire pals, and fight to the death without losing any of your hard-earned progress. Similarly, players can challenge one another to 1v1 duels in order to test their prowess without losing weapon durability or materials.Fuse & Reforge
Gone are the days of grinding for loot with the perfect stats! With this new system, players will be able to fuse their weapons and gems to make their ideal equipment without having to rely on RNG! Improved Combat The combat in V Rising is getting a massive overhaul. Stats have been reworked, gear has been rebalanced, blood types have been adjusted, and a host of customization tools have been introduced. As a result, combat should feel more personalized than ever!And Much More!
As mentioned above, we don't have every detail for what update 1.1 has in store yet, but here is just a taste of what's been revealed so far:- The entirely new Oakveil Woodlands region
- New bosses
- Three new weapons: The Claws, Twinblade, and Throwing Daggers
- Seven unique spells
- New QoL Castle Features and Cosmetics
Will V Rising Have Crossplay in Update 1.1?
Currently, V Rising players can enjoy the title on PC and PlayStation 5. Unfortunately, these players haven't been able to join one another in crossplay just yet. At this point in time, we don't know if update 1.1 will add crossplay, but it is certainly a feature that players have been pining for. Additionally, there hasn't been any news yet on whether or not Xbox users can expect to see the title on their console of choice any time soon.
