How to Get the Obsidian Rose in Terraria

How To Get The Obsidian Rose In Terraria

The Obsidian Rose in Terraria drops from the Fire Imp, an enemy found in The Underworld. This accessory has a fairly low drop rate (the chances have increased slightly since patch 1.4.4). So, players may need to kill a few Fire Imps before getting this item. Note that the Fire Imp typically spawns more in a pre-Hardmode world than in a Hardmode map. Consider creating a new map seed if you’re currently in a Hardmode world. Then, travel to The Underworld to kill Farm Imps and get the Obsidian Rose.

Obsidian Rose Upgrade Crafting Recipes

By itself, the Obsidian Rose can reduce contact damage from lava from 80 to 35. Additionally, it halves the duration of the On Fire! debuff. On the other hand, players can use the Obsidian Rose with other items to upgrade its effects. These upgrades are the following:

The Molten Skull Rose grants the wearer immunity to lava for 7 seconds. Additionally, the player wearing this accessory won’t receive contact damage from fire blocks, and it reduces the damage received from lava. Craft this accessory at the Tinkerer’s Workshop using the following items:

Obsidian Skull Rose

The Obsidian Skull Rose grants the wearer immunity to the Burning debuff. However, it doesn’t give the player wearing this accessory immunity to lava.
