It’s exciting to open Holiday presents. But you might want to think twice about opening packages in the Frost Moon event in Terraria. Otherwise, a horrific Christmas tree, a flying female frost figure, and a robot Santa Claus (among many other enemies) will come your way.
Terraria Frost Moon Event: An Overview
Introduced in version 1.2.2, the Frost Moon Event in Terraria is one of the many events or invasions players can trigger in the game. Participating in this instance will spawn Holiday-themed enemies that will attack in waves. During the event, players must go through 20 waves of increasingly difficult enemies. The event begins with a few enemies, eventually progressing until the screen fills with various opponents. Note: The enemies from this event will despawn if players fail to finish it by dawn. However, enemies won’t despawn if players die while it’s still night. Logging out and re-entering the world will , however, end the event and make enemies despawn. How to Start the Frost Moon Event in Terraria
Triggering the event requires players to use the Naughty Present item. Plus, it has to be nighttime. Plus, Plantera must already be defeated. If a player uses that item in the day, the game won’t use it, and the event won’t trigger.Waves and Point System
To progress through the event, players must defeat enemies and rack up points. Each wave has a maximum point requirement to advance through the instance. Each enemy gives the following point values:- Zombie Elf: 1 point
- Gingerbread Man: 2 points
- Elf Archer: 3 points
- Nutcracker: 4 points
- Flocko: 5 points

- Krampus: 10 points
