Stardew Valley players aren't limited to cultivating and selling plants to make a profit. Various quests are available that also yield gold and other valuable rewards. The Wizard NPC gives one of those quests, which he requires one Prismatic Jelly. So, keep reading to learn the location of the Prismatic Jelly in Stardew Valley and its proper usage.

How to Get Prismatic Jelly in Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley Prismatic Jelly Quest The Prismatic Jelly in Stardew Valley is a guaranteed drop from a Prismatic Slime. However, this enemy will only spawn after accepting the Wizard’s “Prismatic Jelly” Special Order quest. Note that this monster only appears in three locations: The Mines, Quarry Mine, and Skull Cavern. However, there is no guarantee that this slime will appear in these areas, and frequent re-entering of these locations may be required to make the monster spawn. Tip: Search for the Prismatic Slime on a Lucky Day to increase the chances of this monster spawning. Players can distinguish the Prismatic Slime from other Slime types because of its prism-like visuals. You’ll know if it’s the right one when the monster changes color frequently. Unlike other Slime types, the Prismatic Slime has high health and damage capacity. So, players taking on this quest should prepare themselves for a mini-boss battle-like experience.

Prismatic Jelly Usage

Stardew Valley Prismatic Jelly As of Version 1.6, the Prismatic Jelly in Stardew Valley has one use – to complete the Wizard’s “Prismatic Jelly” Special Order quest. Returning this item to that NPC rewards the player with 5,000 gold pieces and the Monster Musk crafting recipe. Note that each Monster Musk requires 30x Slime and 30x Bat Wing to craft. Using it increases monster spawn rate, allowing players more opportunities to gain XP and farm more items. Note: Only Krobus loves receiving Monster Musk. Other Stardew Valley NPCs, including Abigail, Caroline, and Elliot, hate getting this item.
