The Fish Pond in Stardew Valley is a decorative and functional structure for breeding and collecting fish. The fish placed in the pond can also yield rewards ranging from junk to rare items. So, keep reading to learn how to get this station, its quests, and the rewards obtainable from caring for fish on your farm.
How to Craft the Fish Pond in Stardew Valley
Introduced in Version 1.4, the Fish Pond in Stardew Valley is available from the start of the game. Players can purchase it from Robin’s Carpenter Shop for 5,000 gold pieces. She’ll also require 200x Stone, 5x Seaweed, 5x Green Algae, and two in-game days to build the station.Fish Pond Quests and Requirements
Fish in a Fish Pond reproduce until reaching a maximum of 10 population, reducing the effort needed to catch specific fish. Note that the exception lies for the Legendary Fish and Legendary Fish II, as only one of these variants can exist in a Fish Pond. Players must also undertake Stardew Valley Fish Pond Quests to remove the soft lock on each station’s population limitation. Interacting with the Fish Pond during this stage lets the player learn which item is needed to remove the soft lock and increase that station’s population limit.
