Stardew Valley Community Center Guide: How to Unlock, Bundles, and More

Posted on by justin
It’s safe to say that all Stardew Valley players will come across a building in Pelican Town called the Community Center. Entering this establishment for the first time and you'll be greeted with an old, raggedy, broken-down building. But you can restore the Community Center in Stardew Valley to its former glory with a little work and the help of this guide! So let's get to it.

Unlocking the Community Center in Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley Community Center Introduced in Dev Update #20, unlocking the Community Center in Stardew Valley isn’t difficult. You must only enter Pelican Town from Spring 5 between 8 AM and 1 PM. A cutscene with Mayor Lewis should play, and he’ll ask you to investigate the establishment’s pest problem. Upon entering, you’ll find a book written in a strange language. Go outside for now, and travel to the Wizard’s home. Doing so will trigger another cutscene, allowing you to read the book inside the Community Center. After finishing the second cutscene, you can donate items to the Community Center’s restoration.

Community Center Bundles

Center Efforts to restore the Community Center in Stardew Valley are separated into Bundles. Donating the correct item to the appropriate Bundle will give you fairly minor rewards. But completing an entire Bundle will generate a major perk, such as repairing the bridge to the Quarry.

Crafts Room Bundle

Stardew Valley Crafts Room Completing the Crafts Room is one of the easiest, if not the most laid-back, collection quests for the Community Center. The items required to restore this room are fairly easy to find. But the catch is that you must complete all four seasons at least once to finish the restoration. Completion Reward: Repairs the bridge to the Quarry.
Bundle Name Requirements Rewards
Spring Foraging Bundle Wild Horseradish, Dandelion, Leek, and Daffodil 30x Spring Seeds
Summer Foraging Bundle Grape, Spice Berry, and Sweet Pea 30x Summer Seeds
Fall Foraging Bundle Hazelnut, Blackberry, Common Mushroom, and Wild Plum 30x Fall Foraging Bundle
Winter Foraging Bundle Crocus, Winter Root, Snow Yam, and Crystal Fruit 30x Winter Foraging Bundle
Construction Bundle 198x Wood, 99x Hard Wood, and 99x Stone Charcoal Kiln

Pantry Bundle

Pantry The challenge with completing the Pantry room in the Community Center is to farm the right crops. You must grow a wide range of crops throughout the year. So, you might want to spare some room on your farm for the required crops instead of focusing on the most lucrative plants. Completion Reward: Repairs the Greenhouse.
Bundle Name Requirements Rewards
Spring Crops Bundle Parsnip, Cauliflower, Green Bean, and Potato 20x Speed-Gro
Summer Crops Bundle Tomato, Hot Pepper, Blue Berry, and Melon Quality Sprinkler
Fall Crops Bundle Corn, Pumpkin, Yam, and Eggplant Bee House
Quality Crops Bundle 5x Gold-quality Parsnips, Gold-quality Melons, Gold-quality Pumpkins, and Gold-quality Corn Preserves Jar
Animal Bundle 5x Large Milk, Large Brown Egg, Large Egg, Wool, Large Goat Milk, and Duck Egg Cheese Press
Artisan Bundle 5x Cloth, Goat Cheese, Honey, Jelly, Cheese, Apple, Apricot, Orange, Cherry, Peach, and Pomegranate Keg

Fish Tank Bundle

Stardew Valley Fish Tank You must gather and donate various fish to complete this Bundle. Like the other Bundles, you must collect the items by playing throughout Stardew Valley’s year. Completion Reward: Unlocks Panning in the Mountains and removes boulder blocking the Mines.
Bundle Name Requirements Rewards
River Fish Bundle Catfish, Shad, Sunfish, and Tiger Trout 30x Bait
Lake Fish Bundle Largemouth Bass, Carp, Sturgeon, and Bullhead Dressed Spinner
Ocean Fish Bundle Tuna, Red Snapper, Sardine, and Tilapia 5x Beach Warp Totems

Crab Pot Bundle 5x Lobster, Crab, Mussel, Cockle, Crayfish, Snail, Periwinkle, Shrimp, Clam, and Oyster 3x Crab Pots

Bulletin Board Bundle

Stardew Valley Bulletin Board At first, restoring the Community Center Bulletin Board might seem easy. But, you might still spend a lot of time finishing this area, especially with some items tied with RNG, like the Fried Egg (which you can randomly find in Krobus’ shop on Saturdays). Completion Reward: Adds 500 Friendship Points to every non-datable NPC.
Bundle Name Requirements Rewards
Chef’s Bundle Maple Syrup, Truffle, Fried Egg, Maki Roll, Poppy, and Fiddlehead Fern 3x Pink Cake
Dye Bundle Red Cabbage, Sea Urchin, Red Mushroom, Sunflower, Duck Feather, and Aquamarine Seed Maker
Field Research Bundle Nautilus Shell, Frozen Geode, Purple Mushroom, and Chub Recycling Machine

Enchanter’s Bundle Wine, Oak Resin, Rabbit's Foot, and Pomegranate 5x Gold Bar

Boiler Room Bundle

Stardew Valley Boiler Room Ores are the primary ingredients to restore the Boiler Room in the Community Center. You must venture into the Mines to collect many of these ores. Completion Reward: Unlocks the Minecart, enabling fast travel to various destinations, like the Mines, Quarry, and Bus Station.
Bundle Name Requirements Rewards
Blacksmith’s Bundle Copper Bar, Iron Bar, and Gold Bar Furnace
Geologist’s Bundle Quartz, Earth Crystal, Frozen Tear, and Fire Quartz Small Magnet Ring
Adventurer’s Bundle Any two of the following: 99x Slime, 10x Bat Wing, Solar Essence, and Void Essence 5x Omni Geodes

New players may find it challenging to gather gold pieces to unlock this Community Center room. But veteran Stardew Valley farmers may not mind spending the “few” extra cash to restore the Vault. Completion Reward: Repairs the Bus.
