SCP: Secret Laboratory - All SCP Creatures & Abilities

Posted on by justin
The creatures in SCP: Secret Laboratory (also called SCPs) are anomalies of various forms that escaped from their containment units. These abnormalities have unique abilities, such as creating reanimated dead and mimicking voices, which can terrify the hearts and minds of anyone caught unprepared. So, here’s our guide to all SCPs in SCP: Secret Laboratory to learn how to deal with or control them.

SCP: Secret Laboratory Creatures

SCP Secret Laboratory Creatures Currently, SCP: Secret Laboratory has seven playable creatures and various non-playable variants. Each SCP has unique stats, features, and abilities, allowing it to wreak havoc on the different sites.

Playable Creatures

SCP-049: The Plague Doctor

SCP Secret Laboratory SCP-049 Also called "The Plague Doctor," along with other names, SCP-049 is a humanoid entity resembling a medieval plague doctor. However, this SCP: Secret Laboratory creature is an unnatural entity driven by a compulsive need to "cure" humans. As such, SCP-049 can resurrect dead humans into SCP-049-2. Additionally, this creature has some offensive capabilities that resemble invasive surgical procedures. Survivors must prioritize evasion and maintaining distance while dealing with SCP-049-2 to avoid becoming one of its reanimated.

SCP-049-2: Zombie

SCP Secret Laboratory SCP-049-2 SCP-049-2 is the reanimated corpse of the Plague Doctor. Dubbed the name "Zombie," this creature is a mindless, aggressive being with the sole purpose of attacking and killing. Albeit it’s not one of the most intelligent creatures in SCP: Secret Laboratory, the zombie’s strength lies in its numbers. Players who can reanimate many human corpses during a game may easily gain the upper hand against the opposition. Note: The “Zombie” had a T-posing glitch in older versions of the game, creating hilarious in-game moments, such as helicopter zombies.

SCP-079: The Computer

SCP Secret Laboratory SCP-079 Unlike other playable creatures in SCP: Secret Laboratory, SCP-079 is a highly advanced AI in a small computer system. Since it’s still an SCP, its primary objective is to aid other creatures in breaching the containment facility while eliminating human personnel. Although most of SCP-079's abilities are for supporting other SCP: Secret Laboratory creatures, a skilled player can use its abilities to wreak havoc on humans. For instance, the computer can lock doors or turn off the lights in specific rooms, turning these areas pitch black.

SCP-096: Shy Guy

SCP Secret Laboratory SCP-096 Like The Plague Doctor, SCP-096 is one of the creatures in SCP: Secret Laboratory with a humanoid structure. However, this particular creature has long limbs and pale white skin. Additionally, it doesn’t have hair and eyes akin to black voids. Controlling SCP-096 can also be frustrating for beginners and veteran players because of its unique playstyle. Although a powerful creature, SCP-096 requires special conditions before it can deal massive damage to enemies. Additionally, these scenarios typically require it to be in combat.

Distressed: Active when a human looks or fights SCP-096. In this state, its speed lowers, loses perception of non-targets, and the screen slowly reddens. Raging: SCP-096’s assault state, wherein his Hume Shield pauses but gains a significant speed boost. Additionally, this phase unlocks the creature’s offensive abilities: Melee Attack and Charge. Calming: SCP-096 stops screaming, and all non-targets become visible in this creature's line of sight.
  • Melee Attack: Performs a standard melee swipe with a wide arc.
  • Charge: SCP-096 charges in one direction and cannot turn. The creature can also damage doors significantly through this attack.
  • Try Not to Cry: During the Docile State, the player controlling a crying SCP-096 can stay still while standing on a flat surface for the creature to settle down gradually.

SCP-106: Larry

SCP Secret Laboratory SCP-106 Also called The Old Man, SCP-106 is one of the most terrifying creatures in SCP: Secret Laboratory. Meeting it in one of the facility’s hallways can spell certain doom to its human enemies. In particular, Larry’s disturbing atmosphere typically comes from its two abilities: teleportation and wall-phasing. With the help of other creatures like SCP-079, SCP-106 can launch surprise attacks on unsuspecting humans. However, SCP-106 isn’t the tankiest creature in the game. So, players must be careful when engaging enemies with SCP-106, or its powerful abilities won’t be put to good use.
Stats
  • Health: 2,300
  • Hume Shield (Initial): 350
  • Hume Shield (20% HP): 600
  • Walk: 2 to 7 m/s
  • Spawn Location Zone: Heavy Containment Zone
  • Class ID: 3
Abilities
  • Stalk: Submerge and hide on the floor. Stalking also increases SCP-106's movement speed to 7 m/s.
  • Capture: Attacks and applies the Corroding status effect to hit humans. Attacking another player with this status effect sends them to the Pocket Dimension and grants this creature a Vigor bonus.
  • Hunter’s Atlas: Open the map and teleport to nearby rooms.

SCP-173: Peanut

SCP Secret Laboratory SCP-173 SCP-173 can be a fearsome foe in SCP: Secret Laboratory, especially when controlled by a player who has mastered its abilities. With “Peanut,” you can zip around the map at breakneck speeds (which is also the name of one of its abilities). Additionally, you can instantly kill human enemies that don’t look at you. However, SCP-173 generally excels in one-on-one combat. Since it can only “look” at one enemy at a time, engaging groups can mean certain death to this creature.
Stats
  • Health: 4,500
  • Hume Shield (Initial): 750
  • Hume Shield (20% HP): 1,500
  • Hume Shield Regen: 30 HS/s
  • Hume Shield Regen Delay: 10s
  • Walk: 7.3 to 12.4 m/s
  • Jump Power: 5
  • Spawn Location Zone: Heavy Containment Zone
  • Class ID: 0
Abilities
  • Neck Snap: Snap a player’s neck while SCP-173 isn’t, instantly killing them.
  • Blink: Stop moving while being looked upon by a human. Force humans to blink will make SCP-173 teleport to a specified mark. Appearing next to a human instantly kills that player.
  • Breakneck Speeds: Move up to 1.8x faster while SCP-173 isn’t being seen.
  • Tantrum: Leaves a pool of filth on the ground. Players stepping on the pool gain the Stained status effect, which reduces their speed by 20% and disables sprinting.

SCP-939: Dog

SCP Secret Laboratory SCP-939 Skilled players controlling SCP-939 can take down multiple enemies with its confusion tactics. Use the "Dog" and its Mimicry ability to "steal" sounds. Then, throw those sounds to lure enemies in your direction, making it easier for you to land deadly blows. Additionally, SCP-939 can move around the zone fast, thanks to its Sprint ability. Although it’s not as fast as SCP-173, some human enemies will still have trouble targeting this creature and its lightning-fast reflexes. However, SCP-939 has poor vision, making maneuvering around the facility difficult for some players. So, it might be ideal to stick with other SCP: Secret Laboratory creatures in the same server to increase survivability.
Stats
  • Health: 2,700
  • Hume Shield (Initial): 350
  • Hume Shield (20% HP): 700
  • Hume Shield Regen: 30 HS/s
  • Hume Shield Regen Delay: 10s
  • Walk: 4.6 m/s
  • Sprint: 6.8 m/s
  • Jump Power: 5.6
  • Spawn Location Zone: Heavy Containment Zone
  • Class ID: 16
Abilities
  • Claw: Performs a short-range swipe attack that can damage grouped enemies. However, this attack doesn’t pierce defenses and does smaller damage if enemies are equipped with armor.
  • Focus: Activates after two seconds of crouching. Then, SCP-939 gains increased perception and the ability to lunge forward.
  • Ultrasensitive: On-screen audio indicators from nearby players appear to compensate for this creature’s poor eyesight.
  • Amnestic Cloud: Release a toxic cloud, inflicting the Amnesia status effect to hit human enemies. A player with this negative status effect can’t see SCP-939.
  • Sprint: Spend more stamina to significantly increase movement speed.
  • Lunge: Lunge forward and deal damage to hit enemies while Focus is active.
  • Mimicry: Confuse other players by mimicking stolen voices and environmental sounds.

Non-Playable Creatures

  • Anti-Cola: A consumable drink that makes the user slower but regenerates HP.
  • SCP-018: A throwable ball that damages with each bounce.
  • SCP-207: A consumable soda that temporarily increases the user's movement speed and grants infinite stamina. However, it slowly drains the user's health.
  • SCP-244: An ancient vase that creates a large cloud of icy fog when touched.
  • SCP-268: A wearable hat that temporarily grants invisibility to the wearer.
  • SCP-500: Medicine that fully heals the user.

  • SCP-330: Gives the player candy, but taking more than two kills the player instantly.
  • SCP-914: A containment unit that upgrades or downgrades any objects placed in it.
