Palworld Skill Fruit Farming Guide: Locations, Skillfruit Orchards, & More

Are you looking into creating the ultimate Pal with the best attacks? Then feeding your Pals with the right Skill Fruits is the answer to that need. So, here’s what you need to know about Skill Fruit farming in Palworld to help ensure all your Pals have the best attacks.

How to Farm Skill Fruits in Palworld

Pal trainers can find various Skill Fruit-bearing trees in Palworld. But it’s important to mention that higher-level locations often offer better Skill Fruits than those found in beginner-friendly areas. Once you find a Skill Fruit tree to farm, place a Palbox and build a base on that location. Next, summon a Pal with a Gathering Work Suitability. Doing so allows that Pal to gather the Skill Fruit from the tree each time it spawns and places it in a nearby storage box. However, it’s ideal to instruct a Pal with a Gathering Work Suitability of at least Level 3 for this job. That way, you’ll receive twice the amount of Skill Fruits per gathering run. The Pals that have this trait are the following:

• Verdash
• Jetragon
• Knocklem
• Frostallion Noct

Knocklem, in particular, is a great choice for this task. Apart from having Gathering Lv.3, this Pal also has Transporting Lv.4, allowing Knocklem to gather and place Skill Fruits in nearby storage containers quickly. Note that Skill Fruits respawn after ten in-game days, according to observations from the players of the Palworld community. So, it can be great to give your summoned Pal other tasks while waiting for the Skill Fruits to respawn to efficiently make the most of its work-related abilities.

Planting a Skill Fruit Tree

As of the Feybreak Update, players can now farm Palworld Skill Fruit trees in their bases using the new Skillfruit Orchard. This new station can be unlocked at Level 48 from the Technology Tree, and it requires 200x Wood, 50x Paldium Fragment, and 30x Pal Fluids to make. Note that one Skillfruit Orchard uses one Skill Fruit to produce one Skill Fruit tree. Also, the Skill Fruit tree disappears after gathering its fruit. However, a Skillfruit Orchard will bear a tree with Skill Fruit that was used during its growth process. For example, you used an Air Cannon Skill Fruit on a Skillfruit Orchard. Once the tree matures, it’ll only bear Air Cannon Skill Fruits. Doing so makes Skill Fruit farming in Palworld more efficient than having to wait for a wild Skill Fruit tree to bear a specific fruit. However, the Skill Fruit trees planted in Skillfruit Orchards require watering. So, don’t forget to assign Pals with Watering Work Suitability traits to ensure the trees grow and bear fruit.
