Emotes are everywhere these days in gaming, and Palworld is no different. True, it's mostly a way for you to make your character perform some kind of goofy movement, but it performing an emote in Palworld can even yield specific rewards if you know where to look!
How to Emote in Palworld
How you emote in Palworld is different based on whether you're playing with a mouse and keyboard or a controller. Don't worry, we'll discuss each one!Mouse & Keyboard
On your keyboard, you can access emotes by pressing '4.' Once you've done that, you should see the 'Emotes' option on the wheel that appears, and you can select it with your mouse. A new wheel will open with all of your emote options, and that's it! Select the one you want to use, and that's all there is to it.Controller
With a controller, you'll have to press in the right stick. You'll also need to use the right stick to point toward the 'Emotes' option on the wheel. To select an option within your wheels, simply press A if you're using Xbox controller, X if you're using a PlayStation controller, or B if your controller has the Nintendo button scheme. All Emotes in Palworld
There are seven different emotes in Palworld. Most of them will either loop or remain in place until you move your character or perform a different emote. A select few of the emotes have some special properties to them, but we'll discuss that in further detail as we list them below.Wave
The standard wave is a great way to greet friends or potential new friends when joining a Palworld server. It's a simple emote that loops endlessly until you move.Sit in a Chair
One of the funnier emotes in Palworld, sit in a chair will have your character simply float in place as if there was an invisible chair beneath them. Of course, the emote is meant to be used near seating arrangments to simply make it appear as if you're sitting down. To do so, you'll want to back your character up to your preferred sitting spot before using the emote. Luckily, you can move your character around while your emote wheel is open!Sit on Ground
This emote is a nice alternative for when you don't have any chairs or benches set up, and you'd like your character to sit around without looking quite as goofy. Use this emote to take a load off when you're out exploring!Sleep
The only way to get comfier than sitting on the ground in Palworld is to use this emote and drift into dreamland. This emote doesn't have any actual buffs or benefits to sleeping, but the bubbles that appear above your character's snoring head are a nice touch.Surprise
This is definitely one of the more situational emotes in Palworld. Your character will perform a small step back while exclaiming in surprise and that's it. This one doesn't loop, so make sure you can be seen and heard by your friends when you give it a go.Hand Over
This is arguably one of the more unique emotes in Palworld, as it can help you get an item! Specifically, you can acquire a rare heat-resistant schematic for some armor when you perform this emote at the request of an NPC called "Messenger of Love." In their dialogue, they'll say, "Now, let's try 'Hand Over' together!" Perform the emote, and presto! A free schematic.Beckon
This emote shows your character cup their hands around their mouth before gesturing wildly with their arms. Your character's looped and flailing display combined with their shouts might just be enough to attract the attention of passing players.Kick
Finally, we have the kick emote. This one is also unique since it can actually be used as an attack! Sure, it's a very weak attack, but giving some Pals or enemies a swift kick can be pretty funny!Get Started with a
