Survival is a critical element of Palworld, and one way to ensure you survive and thrive is through farming. However, this game’s farming mechanic separates itself from similar titles with distinct steps. Discover the requirements and the procedure of farming in Palworld as you read this guide.Palworld Farming Guide
Not to be confused with the Farming work trait for Pals, farming in Palworld is a way players can regularly produce food for themselves and their pals by combining the right seeds and the correct plantation.Seeds
At the time of writing, Palworld has four types of seeds: Berry, Lettuce, Tomato, and Wheat seeds. Below is a list of where to find these seeds in the game’s map:- Berry Seeds: Drops from Gumoss and Lifmunk or looted from the Overworld
- Lettuce Seeds: Drops from Bristla, Broncherry Aqua, Cinnamoth, and Wumpo Botan
- Tomato Seeds: Drops from Broncherry, Dinossom Lux, Mossanda, Vaelet, and Wumpo Botan
- Wheat Seeds: Drops from Flopie and Dinossom or bought from a Merchant at the Small Settlement
Plantation
Note that specific plants only grow on their respective plantations. For example, you can only plant Berry Seeds on a Berry Plantation. You’ll find each Plantation and their building requirements below:Berry Plantation

Farming in Palworld typically requires the following Pal traits: Planting, Watering, and Gathering. Generally, you’ll find and capture Pals with Level 1 versions of these traits during the game’s early stages. Eventually, additional Pals become available equipped with higher trait levels, enhancing your base’s farming efficiency. Remember, stock up on Paldium Fragments to prevent running out of Pal Spheres. That way, you can capture the necessary Pals to help automate your base’s farming operation.Planting Pals
