Palworld Crossplay Update: Release Date, New Content, Predictions, & More

Palworld launched to enormous success in 2024, and the developers at Pocketpair don't seem to have any interest in slowing down. Palworld has received plenty of updates since its release, and there are more on the horizon. In fact, the Palworld Crossplay update is happening soon!

Palworld Crossplay Update Release Date

While we don't have a concrete release date for the Palworld crossplay update, we do know it's aiming to release this month! Pocketpair made the announcement that a "late March" release will finally bring crossplay to all platforms. This means that Xbox, PlayStation, and PC players can all play together in seamless cooperation!

New Content

At this point in time, we also don't know too much about the new content that will arrive alongside the Palworld crossplay update. However, the same crossplay announcement does say that world transfer for Pals will also be added. This means that players should be able to hop between multiplayer worlds with their current team of Pals without having to start over from scratch. That's a qualify of life update that players have been hoping for! While that's all of the official info out so far, the game's developers have responded to comments on their crossplay announcement with some teasing statements as well. They've confirmed that this isn't the final update for Palworld and that "the update will have some little surprises in it too." Per the Palworld 2025 roadmap, these surprises could include new Pals, new technologies, the crossover between Palworld and Terraria, or the addition of a "true endgame" experience as described by the developers.
