Chromite, a rare and valuable material in Palworld, is crucial for crafting advanced equipment. Found in deep caves and dungeons of Feybreak Island, players need to use special means to find this new resource. With that, continue reading this guide to learn how you can farm Chromite in Palworld.

How to Get Chromite in Palworld

Chromite is a new resource with the Feybreak patch, which is also one of the exclusive materials found on the new island. However, Pal trainers can’t find it out in the open. Instead, you must use a Metal Detector, which is a craftable tool using 30x Plasteel, 100x Paldium Fragment, 30x Circuit Board, and 20x Nightstar Sand at the Production Assembly Line II. Another way is to capture and summon Smokie, a Dark Pal with a unique Partner Skill that works like a Metal Detector. Pal trainers looking for Smokies can find these creatures lurking in the northern regions of Feybreak Island. Note that you'll have more opportunities to find Chromite nodes in caves than in open fields. Alternatively, players can capture or defeat Silvegis, a new Alpha Pal found in Feybreak Island, to farm Chromite in Palworld. Find this boss by traveling south from the Shield Dragon Tunnel fast-travel point. Note that you must enter the tunnel to find Silvegis.

Chromite Usage & Crafting Recipes

The primary usage of Chromite in Palworld is to use it with other materials to craft Hexolite, a new resource introduced in the Feybreak Update.
