Minecraft The Garden Awakens Release Time Countdown

With Minecraft Update 1.21.4, otherwise known as The Garden Awakens, Mojang is introducing tons of awesome content, including the new Pale Garden biome, a scary new mob called he Creaking, and more! New Features Coming in The Garden Awakens

The Pale Garden

As mentioned above, the Garden Awakens brings a brand new biome to the world of Minecraft: the Pale Garden. This biome shouldn’t be too hard to spot, as the Pale Oak trees that grow there are ghastly grey and white. A Pale Garden looks like a forest of dead or dying trees, and they’re almost entirely quiet. So quiet, in fact, that your game will have its music quietly fade out once you enter it.

The Creaking

Pale Gardens are as barren as they look, and no mobs spawn in them at all. With the exception of the update’s new mob, of course. The Creaking is a new hostile mob that will hunt you down. Stay in a Pale Garden when night falls, and some of the Creaking will try to find you. This mob cannot take damage from any source, and it only moves when you’re not looking at it. Luckily, staring at the creepy tree creature will cause it to hold still. Just be careful if you’re dealing with more than one Creaking at once! In order to beat a Creaking, you’ll have to give it a little smack. It won’t hurt it, but it will show a trail of particles that lead to its Creaking Heart block. Track this Creaking Heart down, destroy it, and the Creaking will wither away.

Resin & Eyeblossom Flowers

If you find a Pale Oak tree that has glowing ornage spots, then you've found a tree with resin. Any tree you find a Creaking Heart in should contain plenty of resin as well. This new resource block can be smelted into bricks or used as an orange trim for some armor. If you don't smelt the resin, it can be combined into resin blocks that have a unique feature: they can be destroyed with a single hit! Want to build up an easy-to-remove wall or column? Use some resin blocks, and then punch away with your fists to remove it later. Easy! Finally, you’ll also want to keep an eye out for Eyeblossom flowers. These are a new type of flower that either opens or closes based on the time of day. At night, their glowing orange centers can easily be confused for the eyes of a hostile Creaking. Harvest a handful of Eyeblossoms, and they can make a unique decoration for your latest Minecraft server!
