In just one week, the most exciting Minecraft event of the year goes live, complete with upcoming Minecraft updates, exclusive movie content, and an after-show where the developers give it all a try. So, today, we explore the latest news in our Minecraft Live 2025 countdown, including the Minecraft Live 2025 start time, where to watch, and potential announcements both confirmed and leaked online.
Minecraft Live 2025 goes live at 1 PM ET on Saturday, March 22, 2025. An after-show titled “The Deep Dig” is also confirmed to directly follow and will include the developers playing an upcoming game drop with some unannounced guest stars. While not confirmed in the announcement, a community pre-show typically airs fifteen minutes before Minecraft Live (12:45 PM ET) as well. The pre-show has previously been filled with highlights from Minecraft content creators alongside a few greetings from some of the bigger names.
We estimate the combined runtime of the pre-show, main event, and Deep Dig to be about an hour and a half based on past Minecraft lives. However, with the Minecraft movie on the horizon, that number could possibly be even greater.
