Where to Find Trial Spawners

Minecraft 1.21 Trial Spawner Block Trial Spawners generate within the newly added Trial Chamber structure, which appear between layers -20 and -40 of the overworld. Players seeking this elusive dungeon will have the best luck mining and exploring caves between these levels. Once a Trial Chamber has been located, Trial Spawners will quickly be found within its various challenge chambers.

  • Baby Zombie: Cobblestone & Mossy Cobblestone
  • Zombie: Mossy Cobblestone
  • Husk: Chiseled Sandstone
  • Spider: Stone With Cobweb
  • Cave Spider: Stone With Cobweb & Podzol With Mushroom
  • Silverfish: Stone Bricks
  • Slime: Moss Block
  • Skeleton: Bone Block
  • Bogged: Bone Block & Podzol With Mushroom
  • Stray: Packed ice
  • Breeze: Chiseled Tuff
Additionally, the number of mobs within a Trial Spawner depends on the number of players nearby. We listed the exact numbers below: Breeze Trial Spawner
  • Maximum Mob Count: 1 + 0.5 Per Additional Player
  • Total Mobs Spawned: 2 + 1 Per Additional Player

Finally, when a Trial Spawner has spawned all possible mobs, it will release loot before going inactive for thirty minutes’ time. After that, it can be challenged once again.

  • 1 Trial Key - 50% Chance
  • 2-10 Glow Berries - 11.5% Chance
  • 1-6 Emeralds - 11.5% Chance
  • 1-3 Baked Potato - 11.5% Chance
  • 1-3 Golden Carrot - 3.8% Chance
  • 1 Ender Pearl - 3.8% Chance
  • 1 Potion of Strength - 3.8% Chance
  • 1 Potion of Regeneration - 3.8% Chance
At this time, clearing a Trial Spawner grants one of the items from the list above. If more than one player is nearby, separate loot will be granted for everyone involved.
