7 Days to Die 1.0 is almost here! Many players anxiously await the arrival of this title's long-awaited full release, but when will it launch?

7 Days to Die 1.0 Release Date & Time (Console and PC)

7 Days to Die 1.0 Release 7 Days to Die 1.0, the game's official release will arrive on July 25, 2024, for PC and console alike. The 7 Days to Die 1.0 update release time will be 1pm EST, which breaks down to the following:
  • Los Angeles – July 25th – 10 am PDT
  • Dallas – July 25th – 12 pm CDT
  • London – July 25th – 6 pm BST
  • Berlin – July 25th – 7 pm CEST
  • Shanghai – July 26th – 1 am GMT +8
  • Tokyo – July 26th – 2 am JST

7 Days to Die Update 1.0 Features

7 Days to Die 1.0 New Features 7 Days to Die 1.0 has been long-awaited by the game's community since its Early Access release in December 2013. Over a decade later, this beloved survival horror FPS will soon leave Early Access to become a fully-released title. This major move also comes with various updates to the game, including the following: Note: Check out the 7 Days to Die 1.0 Release Notes for additional details of each item mentioned below.
  • New HD character system: A redefined character creation system with new HD models.
  • New player armor and clothing system: An overhaul of the game’s armor system, which includes armor set effects.
  • New animal models: A redesign of various in-game animal models, including those for deer, wolves, and mountain lions.
  • New challenge system: Replaces the old tutorial quest and journal system, allowing new players to learn the game through an easy-to-follow questline.
  • New vehicle models: A redesign of various in-game vehicle models, including those for bicycles, motorcycles, and gyrocopters.
  • Random world generation updates: Various improvements and optimizations to the game’s random world generation system, including the return of the burnt forest biome.
  • New POIs: Over 75 new POIs come with the release of 7 Days to Die 1.0, including new Tier 5 places like the Haven Hotel, 7 Days Suites, and Navezgane Athletics Complex.
  • New zombie variants: Additional designs to normal zombies, including undead nurses and some wearing Hawaiian t-shirts.
  • World lighting graphics update: Various improvements to global lighting.
  • Various in-game optimizations: These improvements include (but aren’t limited to) reduced weight of art assets for enhanced performance and a better handling of ambient occlusion.
  • Massive progression update: Traders now give fewer XP than before after completing quests, but players now have more options to gain additional XP.
  • Legendary crafting: High-end loot chests and trader rewards may now give Legendary Parts for players to craft Legendary Q6 armor, tools, and weapons.
  • Dew collector overhaul: It now supports three workstation tools.
  • Enhanced gore system: Players will be able to see the body parts of the undead flying in different directions with the new Dismemberment Gore System.
  • Updated road decals: Improved the details on trash and road debris, increasing player immersion.
  • Twitch integration update: New Twitch commands, including small zombies and an on-screen extension, are available.
  • New world borders: Radiation zones at the edge of the Navezgane map have been replaced with a border that fogs up when players get too close.
  • New upgradable player chests: Players will soon start with the basic wooden box for storing items, which can be upgraded to iron and steel.
  • Environment art update: Increased player immersion with new art assets, including new vending machines, plants, office desks, and more.
  • Block shape updates: New block shapes come with Update 1.0, including wedge stairs railing and bulletproof windows.
  • Enhanced audio: Updated various in-game audio files, including bird chirps and ambient sounds.
  • Enhanced particle VFX: Improved many particle effects, including blood splatters, explosions, and vehicle body destructions.
  • Trader voice-over overhaul: Five traders have new voice actors with over 1,200 unique lines.
  • Gamepad improvements: Added extra support to the gamepad, including a new UI navigation system and camera controls.
